Everything you need to know about the Gagat Conference.

Why was Gagat conference started?

We created the Gagat Conference to give our community something it has never had — a unifying platform where all Armenian young adults across the East Coast can connect with professionals, peers, and the organizations that make up our diaspora.

The conference brings together career development resources and networking opportunities to help young adults launch into adulthood as engaged, empowered members of the Armenian community. Armenian professionals serve as role models, while community organizations raise awareness about their missions and open doors to meaningful involvement. By preparing our youth to be future ready in their careers and promoting the value of developing transferrable skills through community volunteering, our youth become well-rounded and marketable professionals while establishing community belonging through meaningful relationships.

Our hope is that through the supportive combination of professional guidance and community connections, our youth will rise to their peak potential as vibrant Armenian-Americans and pay it forward to their community and homeland. By building lasting relationships and staying rooted in their heritage they become the next generation of contributors who sustain and strengthen what our forefathers have built and continue our Armenian values and traditions as one people.
